This powerful Prayer Ministry is activated through a call to the church office. A form requesting the reason for the Prayer Quilt, who the quilt is for, how the person can be reached, and the specific prayer needed is forwarded to the Prayer Quilt group. Once the request is validated, a lap quilt is made and dedicated the following Sunday during the church service. Immediately following the worship service, the quilt is tied as prayers are said by members of the congregation. The quilt is then given to the recipient.
